August 08, 2017

A whitepaper of the AF-SCREEN International Collaboration recommends single-timepoint screening of people ≥65 years of age.

For those ˃75 years of age or in younger age groups at increased risk of atrial fibrillation or stroke, 2 weeks of twice-daily intermittent atrial fibrillation screening is proposed.

The Preventicus Heartbeats app works on this basis. Find more information here.
